The Chicago Cubs topped the Cincinnati Reds 3-0 in Game 1 of their Saturday doubleheader. Anthony Rizzo hit two home runs and provided all the offense Chicago needed. Meanwhile, Yu Darvish tossed six shutout innings while striking out eight and improved to 6-1 with a 1.47 ERA this season.
